I went into Truro for late night shopping on the 14th of December and experienced crazily busy crowds. So seeing as it’s the last one before Christmas this Wednesday, I thought I would prepare anyone who is doing their last bits of shopping before Christmas with some tips!
Today is Christmas Jumper day! This day supports Save The Children by encouraging people to wear their Christmas jumpers and donate! This is something that is supported up and down the country in schools/colleges/universities/workplaces.
Yesterday was my Dad’s 50th birthday! To celebrate when he got home from work, we had an early Christmas dinner and it was tasty.
‘Tis the season for giving but that doesn’t mean that you can’t treat yourself! This doesn’t focus on buying yourself some nice things, it also focuses on taking time out for yourself. At this time of year family is important, but it is nice to get away to have some ‘me’ time.
I was told, I mean instructed, that I had to wait for my sister Ellie to come home for the Christmas holidays. She is now home, so that means that it is tree time!
I spent my evening last night supporting a great group of kids and the wonderful people who help them to achieve the best that they can at Playrite theatre school! I felt wonderfully Christmassy after feeling like the Grinch for the first part of December and I thoroughly enjoyed the show!
I am all for a cosy night in. Now that I have no uni work to do, it means I can spend my evenings relaxing and feeling cosy – which is the best thing for this time of year!
